I have a mag 24 running my setup and I think the mags are great pumps and very reliable.I didnt notice any extra heat buildup.Not sure on the energy use.But who cares about energy use anyhow...lol :P

Mark Wondering if the hippo made it and is ok?Not sure about yr hippo but I know the 2 we have are very curious and also at times kinda "skittish" But what Im wondering if yr hippo was not in good health and maybe weak to not be able to pull away from the pump(?)

I agree with others that posted.I had one for a little over a year in my old 90 gal,but that tank was 5 yrs established.I wouldnt try keeping one in a relatively new tank,kinda like putting a mandarin fish in a tank less than a year old.

I have a mated pair of maroons that have laid eggs 3 times thus far.But wanting to add new fish to the tank and cant till I find the clowns a new home.asking $50 OR trade for frags maybe zoos?acan?orange or black kenya tree :P jk

Some of the frags were a few heads,my son bought one with 3 heads
