I have and still run an air driven skimmer on my 75,I love them never any problems. I do however have the new ETSS sump buddy 40 on my 120 but 25 years ago when I had my first reef, venturi skimmers didn't exist I would hook up the "old school" skimmer run it with a tetra luft air pump variable...- reefsandrotts
