Just be careful when dosing this,it's a tiny bottle with a SUPER tiny tip so if you squeeze too hard your going to way overdose the system.When I bought mine I almost freaked out a little brown bottle for $50.00.

Jim Did you remove the egg? When I sold birds and had my macaw I saw numerous non-fertile eggs laid and if they wern't removed quick enough 2 things seemed to happen. 1.The birds became overly agressive 2.Sometimes they went into believe it or not deep depresion.

If possable,I would pull all the rock and flush it in a bucket of saltwater and see what falls off.I also feel if you have really dense rock it takes along time to actually cure due to the fact the water doesn't saturate the rock as fast.What are you feeding with and how often? With the bigger...

I've cycled tanks with clowns and had a 100% survivale rate, so I'm going to agree with lack of 02 and bacteria die off in the rock.

I agree with the grounding probe. I bought a sohol tang with a BAD case of this from a LFS to give the fish a chance.It cleared up after feeding it broccoli that I microwaved for about 30 seconds soft but still crisp. I have pics somewhere if I find them I'll post progress.

I would remove the plastic,it will attach when and where it wants. Unfortunately they don't always land where we would like them to.

pistol I checked AE's site and you can run it with either a mag 9.5 or the CA 1200 internal pumps.It lists the Iwaki or equivalent.

I have the 40 running on a 120. You should contact Gary at AE about using a mag pump or a quiet-one pump he loves to max out the skimmers so you may be able to use a smaller pump than the 55. Gary's a great gut and will answer anything you ask him,and NJ is a 1 day ship from him.
