Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Hi Darren,
Are you using the phosphate option? I'd be interested in knowing if/how it works. I'd like to find a bacteria based phosphate remover, but I don't think they exist.
Personally, I prefer sulfur to reduce nitrates. Made my filter several years ago from unused parts I had lying...
Paul,
I'll take these if you don't mind holding them a little longer. (Got rear ended in Allentown this past weekend and I'm short a car.) I'll be using them in my 180 - pulled 6' of LEDs and replacing them with two 5' T5s for better coloration.
Regards,
Bob
I just picked up a third one of these. They aren't cheap ($40+ including shipping). The model number is F9D1001-15.
Specs include
- Designed to power your workshop equipment and provide surge protection
- Metal construction is impact resistant
- Heavy-duty 15 ft. cord
- 10 grounded outlets...
Naroda Stars also eat Asterina Stars...
And, I don't think that your photos demonstrate "cannibalism".
Monkey Brains are a delicacy in China. Does that make the Chinese cannibals? (Both species are primates!)
Regards,
Bob
I use a LaMotte Smart2 Colorimeter for my phosphate, nitrate, and iron.
I use Red Sea Pro for my Magnesium and Potassium.
I use Salifert for my Alkalinity and my Calcium.
Interested in the fish if the previous offer falls through. I can supply coral frags if you're interested in them.
I'm looking to hook this up with a pass through the Forsythe National Wildlife Reserve. I understand that the Snowy Owl population is exploding there this year...
Stomatellas are a really neat critter to have in your tank. They reproduce nicely. (However, you can't keep them with hermit crabs or other crustaceans.)
For more info on them, suggest you link-up with Dr. Ron Shimek's Invertebrates; Morphology, Ecology, and Behavior forum...
