You need to load drivers for an external drive to work in Windows 98.Being that the OS is non functioning you have a real problem here.
Your best bet is to look and see if there is a BIOS update for the laptop. Hopefully there is one in which they added support...

Good point hawkeye, is there a big difference in the brand of pellets? Since BRS only sells there own pellets (surely some other brand just repackaged for them)?
I did consider these reactors but after thinking about it I just cant see it working all that well for pellets. If I was doing Carbon and GFO then it would be a no brainer for me.

What size tank and reactor are you using?
So far heres the information I got:
250ml per 50 gallons: Im running a 75 with about 85-90 gallons of total volume so I need around 425 ml of pellets. Obviously I wont add this all at once.
With a TLF 150 I've heard you dont want to put more than 300ml at max to get the best "tumble" so it...
So im torn between the TLF and the Reef Octopus bio pellet reactors.
Anyone have any experience with these? There is a huge price difference but I just want to make sure I get the right one.
I just thought about that Jon, I will most likely be going up. I can get the tank on Friday and bring it up Saturday.
Only problem with that is if it looks good in my house it may not leave my house :)
