    also if you are using a spray bar try not to make bubbles on the surface were they will go into your overflow box and up the tube when i used them i would have to get the air out every few weeks hope this helps

    you could use two overflows i have used only one per tank for over 20 years never had a flood (knock on wood) just set up a 58 gal rr so no more worry about siphon loss

    i just set up the same 58 tank with the same pump i also put a tee on return I'm thinking I'll plumb the skimmer into it and dump that into the refugium i also put a tee in the overflow and plumb a small amount into the refugium my return is in the middle of a 29 gal sump with baffles i think...

    i just set up a new 58 gallon oceanic ultimate reef ready and it didn't come with a cover on the overflow though i did make one to keep the light out

    Zoo help

    i think they need some flow not to much i always start low and move them up. not all the way though only time i had a problem with them i found a sundial snail on them (must remove right away if you see one) hope this helps
