    there is a huge gap with quiet one 1200 then the next model from ~300 to 6-700gph my drain to sump will only be from 300-400 so it's a hard call. i don't want to be too low in flow.

    - vinegar:water solution - shorten the tubing a week and a half later it's making it's way through the break-in process. got a little bit of very wet skimmate in the collection cup. but atleast i know it's working.

    I was looking into buying a return pump and have used mag pumps previously. I personally had no problem but i wasn't into getting all my parameters as stable as possible. mag issues i've read were all heat related and energy consumption. i really want to hear about eheim and ocean runner...
