You can always go ATI but to me, they're a lil pricey. Aquatic Life also makes nice affordable hybrids that come in all sizes. If on a budget, you can also go with a Sunblaze fixture and mod it. BRS used to sell them but now I only see em on Amazon

I have an old tek light that I mod'd into a hybrid. Works just fine. I did upgrade the ballasts a while back as one blew out. I just took out the 2x center bulbs/reflectors etc.

Well that's where you'd need to set a shipment minimum for each order...to cover you're costs. That should include your packaging, materials, labels etc. Or you can hand deliver within a certain distance in the meantime. But you may want to consider marking up your items to atleast cover...

feed your tank with some reef chili or something and they should perk right up. Just broadcast feed maybe 1×-2× per week

You could throw some check valves on the return and overflow lines. Not 100% foolproof but they do work when maintained properly.
