I was thinking about removing that rock and placing it in my "curing" bin, do you think its a good idea? I tested my tank and the nitrates/phosphates were reading 0, but im using the API test kits for that so I am sure there is some room for error

I'll see if I can make it out there. Is there a sports authority over there? My main reason for this post is to find lfs's local to any SA that is going out of business. My assumption was that I would find a lot of wish list items from SA and check out the lfs's at the same time

i would be interested in seeing this operate as an ATO. i am actually in the market for a second one....id rather do a DIY version for my basement franken-tank than drop $150+ on a new one
