Thanks for the kind words and feedback.
I was holding off reaquascaping while they were laying eggs, so I'll take care of that first.
I'll see how the male is doing and do some reading. It will give me more time to get the culturing system going.
I'm leaning toward a new mate for the male as...

The book would be great Barry!
I was planning on setting up to raise them. I'm starting to get things in order for my cultures. Let's hope this is just a case of her getting wrapped up in tending the eggs.
Hey Phyl,
They haven't been quarreling at all. He did all the work the first few batches and now they are joined at the hip. She is tending the eggs. I'll check and see if they are changing when I get home. The cycle is slower because the tank runs at 77-78.

After 3 months of spawning, my female has stopped eating for the last four or five days and the male is only picking occasionally.
Their only tankmate is a Cherub Angel who is doing fine...
From what I read, the Tunze seems to be a better skimmer. But you can get a used Remora with a Maxijet 1200 for about $100. That is what I have on my 55 gallon softie tank, which is where my clowns and LTA live now. The clowns are now laying eggs on a regular basis.
Again, I ran my 20 long...
I'll get jumped on for this one but I kept my ocellaris pair with an LTA for about 5 years in a 20 long with a 65 watt compact flourescent, a fluval 104 canister and a minijet power head.
I didn't do too many water changes either. The clowns are going on 10 years old now and the LTA is 9.
They...
Looks great Eric!
I was just about to sell your old minibow and my son came to me and started asking questions about it.
During Christmas break I will be teaching him how to set it up and then it will move back to the dorm with him.
Probably just a flash in the pan, but a new reefer may be...
