Hey Greg, I have 2 VHO only display tanks. One is a 75 gallon LPS dominated tank and I run 3 UV 50/50 bulbs and 2 UV Super Actinics for a total of 550 watts. The other tank is a 55 gallon Softie dominated tank and that has 2 UV 50/50 bulbs and 2 UV Super Actinics for a total of 440 watts...

Thanks again everyone! Turns out i have access to Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I used that for my recent posts about my tanks. I'll give the freebies a try next go round. Thanks to all who replied. :)

I guess you don't want me to mention that I don't own a single fan or a chiller and my tanks run between 77 and 80 degrees! ;D

Good question Phil! They are just the bulbs using their own internal reflectors.

Yes they are and sorry to say they weren't fully open the day Mike took the pictures. The purple tang was on a mission to find some pellet food in the frogspawn and they weren't happy about it! ::)

There has been some moving around and additions, but enough corals are in the same spot for comparison. FTS 12/2006 FTS 10/2007 Milli Frag 12/2006 Milli Colony 10/2007 The tank is lit by 550w VHO only. 330w 50/50's and 220w Super Actinic.

My Purple Tang goes through phases and the veggie clip helps. Keep feeding them and it should stop. ;)

So what kind of corals are you planning on keeping? The flow plans will work for everything except a tank dominated by hammers, torches and frogspawns. These guys like a more gentle flow.

Only bad things happen quickly in Reefing. ::)

Sorry to hear about your struggles Rich! Are you keeping an eye on the iodine levels since you are dosing that frequently? I went on weekly lugol's binge a while back due to having too much time to surf RC. It was amazing how fast I could get out of control without testing. ::)

Not to mention his bulging muscles and centurion look! ;D
