Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I might be able to give ground support as well, I'll check my schedule.
I can have 2 tanks open to hold leftovers if needed, my 30gal QT and the 46 soon to be a FOWLR bowfront.
I might have a few bucks for the wrapper fund too! ;D
I have never had to pay to park as long as I'm willing to walk. If you head down to the south end of the boardwalk and go inland a block or 2 you can usually get a space.
Hey Mike,
Thanks again for everything. The tank is officially more than full!
Can't wait till everything grows and I can start fragging and pass your good will along. :D
Well my LPS are all moved out and the 55 is an official "softie tank"!
I'm looking for 2 or 3 new softies, one has to be a yellow figi leather.
Please keep me in mind whe you're ready to frag. :D
Hey Arvin,
Nice meeting you today! If you read the last paragraph of that article it refers to the Florida types being OK. That is where ours came from.
Hope you enjoy your critters!
Welcome Ed!
Joining the club has been a great experience for me! Lots of great people that are willing to help.
The tank looks great, really love the woodwork. Hope to see you at a meeting soon.
Bill
Hey Guy!
Glad things are progressing. I agree with Doctor Merv, cyano it is!
Where do you live? Maybe you can borrow a couple of these cyano eating Dr. Mac snails I just got and see what they can do.
Also skip the additives for now. And remeber, if you add it - test for it!
Thanks Matt, I'll check the McCormicks out if the Kent's ever runs out.
cmsurfr22, I use it everytime I target feed the corals, 1-2 times a week and when I just feed the fish frozen usually 2x a week.
Welcome Stidd!
I have a sumpless 55 with a Remora skimmer. mutiple powerheads and a fluval 204 thats doing fine and up over a year. I run carbon in the 204.
If you are going to move to a sump, stay away from the 2 pump idea. It's an invitation to flooding. Especeally since it's not uncommon...
Mine can be shy as well. Makes sense since they use to live with Phyl and John!
I never thought about the mag. My mag drops, I'll have to watch and see if the cycles match.
I'll be there for the early part, have a dinner engagement that night. I'll be solo and will bring... I'll let you know!
On another note, I was planning on chasing down my carbon today or tomorrow, so I can pick up others as well.
I'm off to the carbon thread now!
