That sucks....love that Petco and never thought to ask for discounts. There's no need-the prices are great and the fact that I get healthy and hardy specimens from there is all that's needed. I agree about most Petco's in general but Brick Petco is one of very few places I trust to purchase...
Yeah they tend to find their own place and stay there for a while. Could still move later but they oont tend to wonder regularly. I added two 2-3 months ago and one settled right where i placed it, and the other is still looking, moving every few days.
Down in south Florida for the week so i popped into an LFS. Some awesome coral colonies-larger than I’m used to seeing up in jersey.
then I see a tank that says Bobbit worms $20-40 each. This one is about an inch thick and 18 inches wide! Didn’t see any others so this may be the Survivor...
Yeah from what I’m reading another name for cristata torches are grape coral. Different family of euphylia but referred to as a type of torch nonetheless. Interesting.
just wondering if anyone here knows differences in keeping them happy vs other euphylia. Or has experiences to share.
Picked up a nice little Euphylia at brick petco the other day. Looked like a torch but in reading up, I’m wondering if it’s a grape coral.
Does this look like a grape or a torch? Anyone have experience with these? From what I’m reading keep them low since they’re a deeper water euphylia...
I’ve had monti caps slowly recover from nasty brown to former glory in time....even had to clear algae off them when i noticed the edges beginning to color and realixed they had a chance. I wouldn’t give up on those.
Glad your Duncan is fine but I had one of those die off and go bone white...
