I just got back and now I am going to shovel the ice off of my Jeep so we can go to the diner. I called them to make sure they are open because I think they are Snowflakes and not sure if they can get there. :eek2:
It's about 5 degrees out now and snowed again so it looks like Antarctica outside.
Also very windy. I can't wait to get out there in a few minutes. REAL MAN WEATHER
Maybe I will bring something to chop rough the ice on the Sound to see If I could collect some Copperbands.
They just changed the forecast. They predicted it to be 4 degrees tomorrow morning. But now they are predicting 1 degree with 50 mph winds and wind chill at 25 below zero.
MAN WEATHER. No Sissies out tomorrow.
I can't wait to go on my beach walk in the morning. I hope I can get my phone out to...
EvoIX. Thank you for asking. She is 99% better and I hope she stays like this for many years. Unfortunately, these procedures only last a couple of years, if that.
But it is so great to see her smiling and laughing again.
I haven't built a Steampunk piece in quite a while, and with so much...
I haven't posted anything about my tank in a while, with my wife's illness, all the doctor's appointments, and all the snow we had. I also haven't done much maintenance on the tank, but I do feed them almost every day. When I don't have the time to properly feed the tank, I at least throw in a...
Maybe just two.
It's a little warmer today so the ice receded from our shore a lot.
Because of this, it revealed the icebergs that sunk the titanic over 120 years ago.
This is amazing.
Going on my walk now. No sense taking a picture because it will look the same as the rest of my pictures in the last couple of weeks. :eek2: Still cold
OOOOOhhhhhhHHHHooo NNNooo. There are some ich spots on my 2 yellow wrasses.
OMG, Maybe I will empty my tank, sterilize with bleach, dip all wildlife in fresh water and peroxide and maybe a little Methylene blue and toilet bowl cleaner then leave fallow until July.
Or maybe, I will just do...
We are having friends coming over tonight for dinner. They don't eat seafood (must be Communists), so I am making chicken noodle soup and baking rosemary-olive-oil Italian bread.
Nothing new at the beach this morning. No walruses, seals or penguins. Just Manly ice.
All that "gray water" is...
You know it's cold when the public aquarium has to bring the penguins inside.
This Aquarium is right near my house. I used to be a volunteer there. But the penguins are cold...
I actually invented and patented the thing and even I don't have an old one. I also have "almost" nothing to do with the company either, so I don't sell them. You may be able to get one on Etsy. Good Luck :D
I am a little disappointed this morning. They predicted it to be 5 degrees but it is 12. A little too warm for a Manly walk.
This is in front of my house. Snow is piled about 7' high
It was a bit "nippy" at the beach this morning. I wore my ski goggles because the 9 degree wind was biting.
I love winter walks because it's nice and quiet. No one out, no dogs barking. Nothing but seagulls and me.
I worked outside for much of my career building skyscrapers in Manhattan, so...
She is sleeping but I am still praying that pain is gone. I know she gets twinges of pain and thats how it starts. She can live with twinges, as long as it doesn't go any further.
It's 9 degrees here now and I am going on my dark morning beach walk.
I don't think I will see too many...
I was just downstairs playing with my fish, and I hear this big crash upstairs. I know that sound well so I ran upstairs and of course she fell and was on the floor. She falls all the time and didn't get hurt and is in such a good mood from feeling good, that she was laughing.
The beach was a little Nippy this morning. I am not sure why there were no amphipods and no one laying on the sand. I was going to take a dip, but I didn't bring my insulated Speedo. :eek2:
It was so nice to see her smiling and laughing again. Being able to eat and speak like a normal person. She is so happy, and of course, so am I.
She is still sleeping so I don't know how she is today, but I think and hope she will be fine.
Once again, thanks for all the well wishes and...
We just got back from the hospital where my wife had another ablation. For the first time in months, she is pain free. YYYYYyaaaaaaaaaa.
I sincerely want to thank everyone for all the prayers
I hope this lasts.
