    I bought a chocolate tang recently but barely lasted 24 hrs :(. Not sure what was wrong with it as it looked healthy in the store. It was in a acclimation box so no one picked on it.

    I agree with you Paul. I add my fish in at night to reduce stress but never QT'd. I check the store's tanks other tank mates to see if there is any disease or problem fish. If all looks good I buy it.

    I have this problem during the Winter and added a CO2 Scrubber to my skimmer. So far been stable at 8.2. In Summer usually its 7.5 and in Winter drops below 7.

    I have a Gyre. Some background, Took it apart to clean and when put back together would not work. Took apart again and motor runs fine. Not sure what I did wrong putting it together. I'm not using it and willing to trade or let it go cheap.
