Sadly I lost half the colony. Was double the size in pic. I broke off the dead coral and moved it upfront to keep an eye on it. Hope it recovers. It did not feel jelly like just bleach looking with detritus.

Pick up some mesh and replacement rails kit and corner connectors. I have the tool to push the rubber to hold screen if you need to borrow it

I noticed this morning it lost quite a few heads now. I will test water later, SG 1.025 and temp at 79.8. Any suggestions?

I think the ASM skimmer is working much better than the Elos.

I am thinking of using the ASM G3 skimmer since I have room. Will probably swap it out later today.

I try to stay with 1 degree swing either way. My temp controller is set at 80 and low temp set at 79, high temp 81. If it falls above or below the controller alarms.

Looking for a handful to kickoff the fuge.

The new sump is up and running. The skimmer is going crazy because if a vinegar bath. I also moved it to the middle as it seemed to tight in 1st chamber. I will use the 1st chamber as my fuge.

I'm interested in 4 or 5 heads.

The hobby can be frustrating and am sure many of us wanted to toss in the towel. However, the enjoyment and friendships keep must of us in. I say start up slowly. Seems some are willing to donate which why this club is great. I too have some coral I can offer.

Agree, some type of pod. Just get fish that will eat them to keep numbers in check
