So did an 8 gallon water change today. The sand was disgustingly dirty. Thought had good flow at bottom of the tank, guess not and will have to rethink this. Also, plan to only feed flakes 1x weekly but keep the daily frozen feeding. Any other thoughts?

Seeing some algae issues creeping up again. I don't have a reactor and cannot fit one. What would be best to get it under control? Rowaphos, PhosGuard, something else? Thanks for reading

Ever since I moved my lights the tank took a turn for the worse. I did cut back on intensity two days ago. The leathers in pic are cheap and have been since I upgraded.

Thought the rics from the group buy were dead and went to toss the rubble. They are still alive attached to small rock which I attached to slightly bigger ones. The green one in back is from Mark_c.
