I found a 2.5 or 3 gallon goldfish bowl in my attic I may use. It is narrow say 4 or 5 inches but wide viewing area in front and back.

sad part is I had a hex tank with filter on top that would have been cool to use but the filter/pump broke a few years ago. It so old couldn't find a replacement.

I hope to find something where the top and bottom are similar in size. I am considering a UGF for this setup I was inspired by Paul B.

Second sump complete. Will bring it down to new place this weekend and setup stand, sump, and tank. Will also be painting wall behind and on side of tank. Then ready for plumbing. fingers cros:positive:sed.

I saw that on FB and I believe Marcus is correct plenty of water changes with RC. My only concerns would be extended vacations and maintain temp.

I see your point Paul. I am nervous to collect from the bay by in NJ right down the street from me. I used to add snails and hermits I found at the beach, ocean not bay, to my first tank but felt they caused issues but maybe not. Where I live all the mom n pop LFS closed so I cannot get live...
