If you noticed those silver bolts in the fixture, I went and replaced both ballasts with some ATI's from BRS 2x24W or 2x39W T5 High-Output Ballast - ATI . They were alot smaller and didn't fit into the existing holes, so i just poked some new ones in and bolted them down.

my mistake, it's actually a "blue plus" bulb. But definitely will look to keep this color combo when it comes time to replace

did you run a shield on your T5 fixture?

I had a purple plus on here in place of the atinic bulb but it looked too purple for my taste. But yea I like the way this looks too

the kessil is nice and worked but with that cone shape it left dark spots in the tank I may use it for a frag tank I'm planning to start up again

I saw some dude on R2r with this light rack, and was assured that it could hold the weight. So I pulled the trigger I like the coverage I'm getting with this light and the corals seem to be responding nicely to it. Time will tell

Can you move the piece to the other side of the tank? It may deter them from trying to host There's no guarantee that they'll host a nem. Mine hosts my big chalice with a nem in the tank

Also try no to disturb the solution once mixed as you don't want that white gunk in your tank. So id add the mix directly to your 2gal ato

If your current numbers aren't that far off from where your sweet spot is, I wouldn't go that much to start. I'd go about half that, this way you can test in between and adjust from there so I'd say like 1 tsp per 2gal just to be safe as you can overdose the stuff
