Steamman, I was wondering about the water being to hot and how it affects the unit. I was told to hook the unit up to my cold water.

With mine you will a slight discoloration of the water. Once that clears I move the hose into the container. Edit: where did you but the adapter?

I hear you on the booster pump. I should probably pick up a faucet adapter for the winter.

I too use the outside hose and during the summer it will be faster. When it gets to cold for outside I buy it during the winter; just easier for me.

For what its worth my RO/DI makes about 10g water in 8 hrs. So I think its on track. Also, they sell booster pumps if your PSI is low.

from what I have read they like indirect light and some spot feeding. They are sitting on the bottom attached a piece of LR under T5 lights. I will spot feed frozen baby brine once a week. Anything else i should know to care for them?

I am considering increasing the flow in my tank to help combat the HA. I currently have 2 K3's one on each side plus the the 500gph return. I was thinking of getting two of these, one each side. Or just one opposite the return and K3. I I have a 75g DT. Will two be to much flow...
