Searching the WEB wasn't much help. Some sites said no for PC and RBTA; other sites said they are okay for shallow tanks but never mentioned what they meant by shallow. A few sites had 2 to 6 watts per gallon which is a big gap.
I was thinking of getting an RBTA for my 75g tank. I have 226 watts of PC lighting. If my math is correct 226/75 would about 3 watts per gallon. If this is right is it enough light for the nem?
Thanks
Mark
Sid,
Too funny. I meant I have the PDF on my hard drive and didn't know how to upload. So I gave the link to all the logs instead. My comment makes me sound like a Dumb A** after making the statement and then posting a link.
Fish Channel has 3 logs; FW, SW and reef. Here is the link to the main page. You may need to login. I have them downlaoded in PDF just not sure how to post here.

This time I did stress some as the pet sitters are not very knowledgeable about the tank. I did leave detailed instructions and a phone number for a member here just in case. They just didn't open the cabinet to see the low water level. On the plus side all fish corals still alive. I am now wet...
Bax, I think the water weight and heat caused the crack. It was pulled out in the Spring for a good cleaning and I think it was not seated properly. Most likely left a gap between the dirt and bottom causing stress and it cracked. The plant shelf on the other side buckled as well.
I will try and get pics up later in the week. One thing I thought odd was they had seahorses in a display with fish!!!
All my son kept asking why can they do it and we can't. LOL, I said because you are not suppose to as the fish will get the food before the seahorses do. I assume they feed...
So I get back and the tank is making lots of noise. Seems that the pump on my ATO wasn't working after the storm and power outage and nobody noticed. Skimmer stopped producing skimmate and all timers off schedule.
Plus the pond has a huge crack. Luckily it can be half full.
Well the Hippo didn't survive. I doubt this guy was sick as it was always swimming around grazing and eating just like the first day I put in the tank. Even when my other tang got ich this guy was fine. What ever happened was within those two hours. As other members have told me its possible it...
The hippo was doing great. I am happy it has survived for so long considering how easy they get ich, etc. I am guessing it was trying to eat some algae off the pump and got suck in.
This morning it was alive but wouldn't come out. When I fed the tank it swam out twice but didn't eat and went...
This was meant to make you feel guilty. Believe me there are many animals I would love to keep in my tank but I know I don't have the skills or environment for them. So I enjoy them in other people's tanks and aquariums. maybe some day I will be able to keep some of them.
When your tank is...
I have one going on 2 years I got from an established reefer breaking down. It definitely eats asternia stars as I had tons and now not many. It will eat stuff off the LR and glass if it must. Also, I can't keep Xenia or Anthellia in my tank. The linkia is always on that piece of LR and...
Left the house at 6pm to go to the gym and a few stores. Get back at 8pm and my 6" hippo tang is stuck to the side of my Koriala 3. The same one that took out my flame angel last year. It is still alive and swam behind a big rock. I hope it survives and it is the dominant fish in the tank. Why...
That is ridiculous but I like your reply.
I would have said since you obviously are clueless regarding the products you sell can you point me to someone that does know about this particular item? If not I will gladly return it and expect a full refund for your incompetence.
