In my 75g I have two K3's. One is on the right side angle toward the front middle. The second is on the left side a bit lower angled to the back middle. I was trying to get a circular sweep and seems to be working.
All I can tell you is that I had a bad case of hair algae in July. I ended up pulling all rocks and scrubbing them a brushes. The ones with many crevices I blasted with a pressure hose. No more HA but did get back some bubble algae. can't win them all. I also placed the rocks upside down in the...
I have this filter on my red ear slider turtle tank. It pulls in water and pumps it out but the water just doesn't get clean. I have the sponge, carbon and ammonia within it. Any ideas what the problem is?
Thanks,
Mark
The next question is what type of coral do you keep or plan to keep? I had 2 K4's on my 75g softy reef and it was to much for them. However, SPS would love that much flow.
Nice setup and price. I'd take it but my collection has grown again. Get rid of 1 and get 2 more. I may know someone that will take it and will get back to you.
Just thought I would let everyone know that Ocean Gallery II and Ice Cap have great customer service. I bought bulbs at OGII in August during the sale. After 2 months one burnt out and I contacted Brain at OGII who put me in touch with Steve at Ice Cap. Ice Cap is replacing my bulb. How awesome...
I had similar problems with my Berlin, different model. Clean out the air in-take hose as it accumulates with salt and restricts air flow. I used a toothpick or small nail to get the dried salt out.
JRWOHLER,
Must have the same one I have, bands of light and dark brown. We call it a turd also. Had it for almost 2 years and never leaves the sand bed or rocks. Never knew they could split. The tiger tail is a cool looking turd though.

I have a baby Painted turtle about 2" in size. It's tail was bitten off by another turtle. It has a tail just a stubby one. I don't have room for a separate tank so free to who ever wants it. Just send me a PM.

I don't understand what's happening. My son caught a seahorse a month ago and its doing great, fingers crossed. It eats frozen food from the start. We caught a few pipe fish in Shark River and Keyport. Unfortunately, they all died by the next morning. I took an hour to acclimate them. Any...
Very cool. Few years back had a similar situation. The mother/father rabbit abandoned 3 babies in our yard, never came back. Took them in and kept them in a large dog crate. They were so small we had to bottle feed them for 2 months. They grew and were let go in the woods behind the house.

When I was looking into starting a business few years back I found out if it was in my wife's name there were many perks. Never did start it for various reasons. Not sure if it is the same for an iNet business.
Haven't seen the November one but September's was just shy of 90 pages. I like the articles in TFH better anyway. The Reptile magazine my son gets is barely 70 pages.
That is strange. First thing that came to mind is flow but the skimmer shouldn't affect that. Second was oxygen or to much crap in the water. Good luck and let us know what happens.
Next week I plan to paint the room my tank is in. I will open all windows and use a fan for ventilation. Will also cover the tank with a sheet. Is there anything else I should be aware of? I am concerned paint fumes will get in the tank and kill everything or am I being paranoid?
Thanks,
Mark
