Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Sunny, thanks for the heads up....however, the two times I went in there after their renovations, I did find the nori on the isle end, close to the cash registers, and across from a counter with a person (maybe herb counter), and they did not have the non-roasted type. Actually not a very...
NORI UPDATE
I took Trivan’s recommandation to try H-Mart in Edison. The first thing I must state is that it is a very nice store…..big….and clean…and they speak English, unlike the East Brunswick store. I believe it is a Korean store, but they carry other nationality foods (although I...
Trivan, thanks for the heads up.
It is Korean. I too can't read any Japanese, Chinese or Korean, and in fact have no idea what the differences are in their symbols. However, I can read the English in the lower left corner of the label that states Rhee Bros. Importers, manufactured by...

Unfortunately the specific gravity doesn't tell you anything in regards to what is there. In addition, that phosphate number is through the roof.
I would write off that unmentioned LFS and fully agree with Mark.....buy a RO/DI unit.
"Starting to complain...." If she is just starting, consider yourself lucky. My wife started as soon as I said "I do," and it hasn't stopped for 34 years.
Hey, talking about messes, is the porch done? Now I'm starting to sound like your wife! :o
Not even close.....if we make some assumptions.....the average US drinking water TDS is 350. If we assume 1 "clean" gallon of water for 3 gallons of waste on the RO/DI unit (that's what I get with my 75 gpd unit), that calculates to a TDS of 467 for the waste water.
Wow! WOW! You have to be able to see a color difference with that water. There are no actually standards, but the EPA recommends not drinking water over 500.
As I typed this a thought came into my little pea-brain....this is RO/DI water we are talking about and not saltwater? If...
It is hard to see, but I mounted the sock holder below the trim of the tank....with a spacer between the blue plexi and the trim. When the sock overflows, it goes between the blue plexi and the edge trim...right back into the sump.
I used teflon nuts and bolts.
Darren recently posted these reflectors and bulbs, and they just miss fitting in my canopy because of the way I framed the canopy. So they are still available, but now at my house.....in Sayreville.
As DARREN'S POST states, 2 reflectors and used 80w Fiji pink bulbs.
The bulbs (not...
This is my guess......the bearing are not made for lateral forces....they are fishing reel bearings....they just like to spin. When applying lateral force (in our case, from the magnets pulling towards each other) the bearings are being "pulled" causing them to now run on the side portions of...
Are these new or used?
The first thing I'd try is setting the thickness to 1/2 inch. It pulls the dry side back a touch more and therefore puts less strain of the lateral pull on the bearings. These bearing were not designed for lateral stress.
The next thing is aligning them to the...
