I think I just set a record for my own buying of inexpensive RO membranes ~ I just got two 100 GPD membranes for $33.

Ask me in six months how I liked them...
Problems like this are why I LOVE my All4Reef.
Also, my chemistry guru, Randy Holmes-Farley, recommends not bothering to test Magnesium. He says test results are too problematic to be of any use. Have any interest in a cheap Hanna Magnesium Checker?
They come with the mounting brackets shown on the page. I expect to mount mine on the inside of the swing-up front of my big old-fashioned hood. I'm looking to get an angle so I can cover the parts of my reef that aren't fully covered by my existing LEDs. Of course, on the inside of the...

I just picked up two to supplement my existing LEDs. Shipping was quick.
Glad to hear it. I want to grow it to feed my fish too, and hopefully sell any excess to my LFS.
Two questions: Did you "tumble" it? Did you supplement iron for it?
I found another source stateside for bulk quantities of Ogo, but I prefer to give my business to people like ISPF who supply...
Anyone ever ordered the Tang Heaven Red from ISPF? I was wondering if it is a mixture of different red algaes or maybe just one species. I'd love to get just Ogo.

Looking at the page again, the Tang Heaven Red is Gracilaria parvispora...
I actually sprung for this Capelin Roe product:

You keep in the freezer, but don't have to defrost it.
The downside is having it shipped quickly in dry ice.
The upside is two pounds of it lasts a real long time.

THANK YOU! (Better you than me.) But at least it's in the "Family"!
That may not happen too quickly. The description says "This xenia is less prone to move to the adjacent rock". I consider that to be a selling point - I currently spend two hours periodically cutting back on my invasive xenia.
Brtightwell actually has pretty good dosing instructions posted on all their products.
Check the link I posted for dosing calculations.
I don't have any LPS to speak of in regard to damage from LaCl.
If you're going to mess with LaCl, I strongly suggest you get a Hanna LR Phosphate tester...
