I recently bought a 65 gallon tank with an overflow. The tank did not come with pipes for the overflow. All I have is a box which drains into the sump with two holes. I understand one hole is for the return and one is for water to the sump. How do I create this? What is needed?

I decided to take off the overflow box for now due to the fact that my sump was not working. Here is a recent picture.
