I have frags of the superman, purple haze, and pokerstar. I also have colonies of pokerstar, purple haze, and two mystery monti's that I havn't been able to find an ID for online (Pink encrusting, yellow base w/ bright yellow polyps encrusting)

There's really no way to know how old a bulb really is or how long it's been fired up (outside of it being burnt) as the color spectrum shifts over time. The only way you'd really know is if you fired an old one and a brand new one of the exact same manufacture and kelvin rating. But even then...

In our 60 frag tank is a pair of clowns, sixline wrasse, yellow tang and a lawnmower blenny. The tang and blenny do an awesome job at the algea, and the sixline takes care of any pests. And the clowns are well...just cool :)
That sucks man. I had a blue spotted jawfish do the same thing. I had to put another layer of netting on with the openings staggered. It did block some of the light but it did help with the jumpers.
