    Of all the DIY things I’ve built for the reefing hobby. The Red Sea DIY kit must have the been the most frustrating, labor intensive thing I’ve done. Next time, I’ll just buy a dang lid for all the hassle and effort this thing was! /end rant

    Phosphate E (Not sure about the Seaklear phosphate remover) is based on Lanthanum chloride, it lingers in the tank for a long time.. in ICP test kits, its registered as a pollutant FYI

    Never tried.. seems so much easier then defrosting with RODI water.. does the frozen just float in the feeding ring?

    Nope! The lights and rail system are hanging from the RMS hanging kit (ceiling mounted), the canopy just rests on top of the RMS rails.

    I had added a baby purple tang to my display a few months back.. Mirror absolutely helped save it from the other tangs being aggressive (yellow and hippo). Kept the mirror in place for about a month

    Now that you mention it.. some of my zoas (especially the freshly fragged ones) dont tend to do to well.. was wondering if it was just getting hit with too much light.

    believe it or not.. i got some peppermint shrimp from petco recently (online order) that took care of my aiptasia problem.. or at least significantly reduced it over time
