    Tank was not looking well. Did some tests and man the numbers are off. Calc-300 Alk-6 PH-8.6 Phos-0.25 Nitrate-15 Raised calc n Alk, will retest tomorrow. I assume WC to bring down Nitrate?

    I have 2 matted filefish and they eat flake and frozen as well.

    If you plan to keep the QT running I would pickup a filefish and place it in QT tank. I have used lemon juice to melt it but does come back. Benefit of melting was the file fish was able to eat what was leftover.
