Re-test first to make sure that your nitrates are at 20 to rule out user error then test after the WC. Any new food or rocks or something go in? Also what size is this tank and what's your livestock count?

Looking for something that we can buy for use at swaps n events. Preferably under 10gal and "modern" I found some tanks online but I want to see if anything is out there 1st before I purchase.

I think your right on the calothrix. Could you also cut your lighting to about 6hrs per day? To see if it starts to die off?

Did something die in your tank? Like snails or a crab or a coral or something? And if you were to brush it, it comes off easy right?

Can you use store brought citric acid to clean equipment? Never really used it but I’m just curious. I just got an email from BRS showcasing their new product and it’s $12 for a 1lb container. I know I can get store brought a lot cheaper off of amazon.

I’ve heard of it but us nothern folk don’t travel that far down. Ru planning on going back? If so could you grab an email from them?
