    Is dementia kicking in?

I thought the meet on Saturday was front and center, I think I recall seeing the post with donations, things people were bringing, etc... I can't find it, and I sort of need it for an address and such, and to update my donations to the NJRC members and coffers.

Renewed hobby - large scale models

Cool stuff. Always loved the Corsairs and will probably pick up one in the future. Probably loved them so much as I used to watch 'Black Sheep Squadron' when I was younger, a series that depicted the war in the Pacific in a 70's we're all having fun kinda way. Per tanks, one word... weathering...

    Mars aqua reef lights 165

Id you’ll take Paypal and if Cark can pick them up for me, I’ll take 2 of the Aquas. Never know when a new nano may spring up around here.

    Maybe its just me but....

I use the same answer to my wife’s questions regarding my old Jeep or the tank... Wife: ‘What’s that noise?’ Me: ‘Probably about $200’

    Going under-sink rodi

So, I picked up a unit from Express Water, on Amazon, for $170. 6 stage filtration - chem filter, sediment, granular carbon, RO, DI, activated carbon. Unit is nice and labelled for dummies. Set up, again, labelled for dummies. Simple instructions. Size is that of a normal RODI and it takes...

    Cherry stand for sale

He's a whizz with those Walmart directions. I've seen him put together a Sauder nightstand in only 6 hours. Once he left, I fixed it a bit. But he did an OK job.

    Sometimes it’s the little things

Sounds very suspicious. Does she bring you the meds? Speaking of such - What she's digging? If it's rectangular and a few feet deep, stop taking the meds and get out of there.

For all the Mark's or Marc's out there

That barista should run for office or at least get a job in education

WTB - Biocube 14/16g with LED

Anyone got one? We just rearranged the living room and theres a small open space a tank would fit nicely in. Might even consider flake/frozen eating dwarf horses.

    Freshwater Systems

Little 7g for a beta, 10-12 neon tetras, a crazy plecki that Sponge hooked us up with, and a few snails that have now turned into 100. Few small pieces of driftwood and a couple of no maintenence plants.

    125 Gallon Flow

Although they've fallen out a bit with all the new tech out there, I can't recommend Sea-swirls enough. 180 degree rotating pattern driven by your pump of choice. I've got 2 on my back wall pushing in 500gph each to create some chaotic flow. Don't think I'll ever run another tank without them. I...

    Greetings from a Newbie

Welcome aboard! Dave and I are the good looks and intelligence of the crew, you can tell because we respond first, as all good looking intelligent people do. Sponge gave a thumbs up, but he's sorta on the outskirts trying to get in. Seriously, we have a great community here, wide and varied...

    Going under-sink rodi

Troubleshooting my RODI today and found my in water to be 147tds. Further investigation regarding town water showed it to be in a pretty sad state. Decided to run a new RODI for drinking water under the kitchen sink with an 8g upgraded holding tank. Figure this will supply enough drinking water...

Forgot to turn off the flow before adding my anemone

Grats on the save! I propose that while netted it will settle exactly where you like it then, within 48 hours, it will migrate to the least visible area in your tank. ;)

Renewed hobby - large scale models

This is sorta cool. Apparently models aren't just models anymore, a load of kits offer 'serious modeler' upgrades. In my case I piked up an upgrade kit for the D-7 that included the LEDs, modified plastic parts to diffuse the light properly, and photoetched parts. With some research, seems...

Renewed hobby - large scale models

Kit 2 just came in. :) Its a Klingon D-7 at 1:350 scale, which puts this puppy somewhere around 3 feet. Picked up the LED lighting and effects kit as well.

    Designer black and white clownfish

Had a similar situation with introducing a gladiator quite a few years back when they were the fashion. NIce as they look they're quite aggressive (guess its in the name). Lost a 3yo clown to one, same deal. If you're going to keep the gladiator be aware that she'll probably be hyper aggressive...

    Cheato cage

Mmmm.. Cheato needs space to tumble a bit and needs a good source of direct light. I'm concerned that putting such a small amount in the cage will cause it to brown and release phosphates, which sorta defeats the purpose of cheato and may harm the horses. Any artificial alternative? Maybe a base...
