Been to the Baltimore Aquarium, Shedd, New York Aquarium, Waikiki Aquarium and Sea World. As Paul said I like them all as they have their different niches.
from what I have read they like indirect light and some spot feeding. They are sitting on the bottom attached a piece of LR under T5 lights. I will spot feed frozen baby brine once a week. Anything else i should know to care for them?
I am considering increasing the flow in my tank to help combat the HA. I currently have 2 K3's one on each side plus the the 500gph return. I was thinking of getting two of these, one each side. Or just one opposite the return and K3. I I have a 75g DT. Will two be to much flow...
To my knowledge glass prevents UVB light from getting through, I know this from all the reptiles my son keeps.
I would be more concerned with heat leaving the lid on as the water temp may get to high.
Edit: If you keep the lid clean then should be no problem of light getting through to the tank.
Qwik, thanks for the post. I too read many online articles before making this decision. I run GFO and Carbon but right now I am not using carbon. I plan to switch out my GFO media this week. I really think my problem was that PC light as I never had this issue with my old T5 light. I switched...

I plan to pull those little rocks out from...
I did try a sea hare but it died 3 fays later. I think it choked on the HA..LOL
I took all the posts I read that it works for HA both ways. Yes, dipping is most effective but I can't dip all my rocks.
Well it's been a few hours and I see some of the HA turning red/brown on the tips. I will take...
So the journey begins as of today. I did the water change and started dosing the peroxide. I estimate 80g of total water volume and 1ml per 10g would be 8ml of hydrogen peroxide daily. I decided to start with 5ml daily and will do this for 3 days then bump it to 8ml. I will keep this thread...
