If you can left the rock with the Nem try rubbing the foot with ice. If not blast the foot with ice cold water.

We have all done something similar. I like to use gravity to drain water from my tank. So one time I left both ends of the hose in the tank with the lid closed while I dumped the water. When I came back one end of the hose slipped out and the rug was very wet. I have a much better method now.

I used a Rena Filstar on my FW tanks and also on my reef tank until I ugraded. I bought it on-line for $99, biggest size XP3. It's self primimg and has three fairly large baskets for media. I bought mine at Pet Solutions. I now use it on my turtle tank; keeps the water crystal clear.

Looks like your anti-virus software thinks you have a worm virus. Does your software check for this? How recent is the program? I would download the most recent upgrade and run it again. If it still finds it try cleaning it.

I used the CPR HOB fuge on my 55 and it worked great. I used it in conjunction with Prizm skimmer and a Filstar XP3 canister. Eventually pulled the canister and had no problems. Then of course I upgraded to a 75 gallon DT. I have a 30 gallon sump/fuge thanks to Mikem.

What is the problem your experiencing? I would be a bit concerned with the NO3 and suggest performing some water changes to bring it down. I also have a problem with the color charts and always ask my wife and kids what color it looks like. Doesn't help as they all see it different.

I had a pair of orange ones that bred in the tank in about 3 months. Also, have silver ones that bred a few times. I have one baby that has grown up, it's in my sump. They did a great job of algae control and didn't bother any other fish.
