Make sure the ATO tube is in the tank...not just pushing water all over the floor? Hope you figure things out. Strange that the salinity is OK while the ATO is empty and water is everywhere...to me that means the water on the floor was from the ATO.

You can put another membrane than the one you started with. I have had 50,75,100 with restrictor in my Coralvue RODI that came with a 50GPD to start. Works the same unless you have some issue with water pressure.

I have used cutting boards with the same results. Rock and sand holds it down. Putting a base down before the rock is really the way to go.
