I think it sounds like you are pretty set. Between the Dr.Tims, the cured rock and to a lessor degree the water you should be good.

You could still temporarily put the lights up just to see what it looks like. Good idea to use some of old tank water for water changes.

I found that my overflow was very loud just due to the water flow going into the overflow. So when I saw Hawkeye's return was T'd off to run a reactor that is what I did. It was just enough to slow down the volume and noise.

I followed Mike's advice and use the yellow reef crest, I keep it pretty low because it is my safety pump in the case of a blown GFI. Gives it more time to run on a lower speed.

If you don't need it right away why not wait until Champion comes out with their product...plus we will be having a group buy with them sooner or later.
