I agree and bare bottom allowes you to maintain the water quality better as you can just syphon the bare bottom much easier for more frequent water changes.

Forgetting to turn off the RO/DI maybe 10 G who knows it is in the crawl space, worse was when I was refilling the tank after a water change and the fresh salt water was pumped onto the family room floor because the hose had gotten pulled out of place probably only 5 gallons but bigger mess by far.

AO sells the two part fast QT meds...I have used them lately and I would suggest them ... for 5 bucks it is a little piece of mind without using QT tank. I have never used a box but thought I would point that above product out. ACC sells same product. I use drip method and those two meds...
