Just one little thing, I would add live rock then sand around it. If you have any digging fish or animals they can destabilize your rock formations if they are placed on top of the sand.

I said a similar thing in the QT thread. Hippos are strange to say the least, mine will behave in a similar fashion in my DT. So long as eating and happy just assume it is behavioral not an illness. You can keep a light in the QT keep it minimum I suppose, but unless you are breading blind...

ESV makes a freeze dried phyto that is pretty darn good and easy to use/keep. And little waste...fish even eat some of the clumps.

Did you happen to check out the strips? http://www.aquastyleonline.com/products/24-LEDs-Strip-DIY-Dimmable-Kit.html You can customize them a little better for probably 20 bucks more ...I have not seen the UV LED in any other fixtures ...that is really great. Let me know how it goes for that...
