I had one clown that never hosted anything....OK a powerhead(he is a dummy)...got second clown and she went to the RBTA and now they both host them. With mine splitting they are sleeping in separate beds now. ;) Just takes time I think once they figure it out. Keep the picture up and try moving...

Re: My Oceanic Tech 120 and a request for input. The little circles are Armor of Gods Zoas to the left and True Reds I think on right, both are zoas. Not sure if you can tell but they are slightly different. Gladly give you some at some point.

You can loosen it using a turkey baster few minutes before water change ... let the sand settle and then it will come up easier. Glad they are getting along, you are a trip I wish I had your enthusiasm. ;D

You can go dry, but would suggest getting a couple cups of good live sand from a member or two. 5.99 for rubble is bit pricy IMHO.

Mysis or brine shouldn't be an issue at all. Shrimp have to be fairly small, figure the mouth on a frogspawn 3-5MM so mysis is great size. I know they can take larger pieces, I feed krill fairly often breaking one krill into 4-5 pieces maybe. Another issue is how much flow do they have?

I believe it is better to feed, of course there are corals you don't need to feed but it is natural for them to feed. Usually my corals don't stay small for long. Could be you are feeding too large pieces of food?

I was referring to the cost of running a pump like a Mag 12 vs the cost of running a couple Koralia powerheads or something similar.  That said there are things you can do like run carbon, UV ect that will help in filtration.  Figure some folks still run canister filters on FOWLER tanks.   +1...

Not really worth the cost unless you are running some sort of manifold with carbon, UV, or something. But most add ons like that need a lower flow. Otherwise power heads create flow with less energy.

Phyl if you can remove some mangroves from your overflow you could add a plastic pot in your sump with some mud/sand with a hanging light above it. I do similar thing with my little outdoor fish tub in the summer.

I am not suggesting that..just to add something different then a 4th tang. Part of the problem is they have the same behaviors and niche so competition exists. A trigger(only as one suggestion) would occupy a different niche.
