I only test 3 things- Alk, Calc and magnesium. SO this unit would be a waste of money for me. As mentioned before the Hanna calc test is over complicated and takes way to long. Alk - Hanne tester Mag and Calc - Salifert Occasionally will test PH - Salifert

For me that worked. Live sand to expensive for a large setup IMO. I would assume live sand would be clean.
