    Dt temp was 72/73 per digital thermometer and glass one read 74/75. So i moved the heater from the sump to the DT as I don't feel comfortable with that low a temp.

    Not that easy. He took this holder and drilled two holes through a piece of acrylic he bent to a certain angle and secured with plastic screws. I then glued it to my Mag Float. After many years of use the acrylic part snapped. Edited.

    Do any of these take a straight edge razor blade or are they special blades? I had one a member made many years ago and glued it to my Mag Float but it broke. It was easy to replace because it took, what I call, normal razor blades.

    Right now the temp is at 76 per glass thermometer and 74.4 with digital thermometer.

    It is possible the VOC cement caused the problem but I would take small coral and check for bugs first. My wife sprayed Lysol every where I was sick and tank was fine.
