I have a Cannon MX490 and the ink cartridge is about $19 for black and $25 for color. The printer truly sucks. It never prints straight lines and sometimes words are blurry and other times not. Very frustrating.

I Don't have a sump so my top off is manually adding a gallon each day. I have 7 separate gallons of water waiting. This is why I was using baking soda and not kalk. One day when I get a sump different story.

I put a small piece of egg crate to section off my GFO bag from the macro. Didn't want it getting all tangled up.

I was using baking soda mixture. I have an old jar of kalk but not sure if its still good.

The Alk won't stay steady at 8. Thinking of adding it my top off water. As I add about a gallon a day. Just need to figure out how much per gallon.

I thought this was yearly and believe this is the 3rd or 4th year. My son and I went last year, it wasn't crowded and plenty of reptiles, fish and coral.

Alk is at 6. I boost it but stays there. Cal is about 530. I know its high but was more and finally coming down.

I picked this up from Mike at the Feb meeting. It is very nicely built and no sound from the pump. He threw in a small light with a suction cup which attaches to the outside of fuge. It works very well IMO.
