Marcus are you dosing magnesium as that help with GHA. I run my skimmer more on the wet side and use Mag and that's it. I just drop the little GFO bag in the open section of skimmer. Not the best method so looking to make a change there.

Who knows. I did say Nori or dried seaweed to make Sushi. Either way the stores are close but that Amazon deal posted is good. I paid $4 for 5 sheets. Amazon price is double and you get 10x more sheets.

Didn't know SR sold Nori. I asked customer service and was told nope.

Food Town and Best Markets sell Sushi Chef (Toasted seaweed sheets). My tangs love this stuff.

The canister filter cannot handle large water volumes anymore I guess being its old. That being said can anyone use the parts? The canister itself Hoses / connections Media baskets - maybe make frag holders from them If no takers will be in trash Monday morning.

Going to need the hang on back after all. The canister ran outside for 2hrs with no issue. Hooked it up to 5g bucket. Bring it inside and leaked bad. I guess the pump is to old to handle the flow; faster coming down compared to return.

Did some cleanup this past weekend and found my old Rena XP3 canister filter. It actually still works so will use that for my GFO. Thanks everyone.

I agree sharks. Before Super Storm sandy I picked up a 120g and was going to do aggressive fish. 1) banded shark 2) Sting ray 3) Lion Fish 4) was undetermined Unfortunately, I sold it and waited 3 years to get back into the hobby. First with a 46g and now the 72g. This is as big as I will go.

Marcus, that is my plan. If i still have problems then the fish goes.

Its leaving the nepthea, frogspawn, kenya and a few zoas alone. Guess it doesn't like soft coral.

Its brown copper colored. So whats the best way to keep on top of this?
