Crabs dont really last in my tank as well. I had a few green emeralds and 4 pitho crabs. I now have 1 monster pitho and 1 more. The monster one could be killing them, but he seems friendly lol. I do have GHA. Not super long, I've just been scrubbing the rock inside the tank haha

Yeah I was going to mention pieces of the ocean but gotta pay tolls. I like using their app reef and bid. Can get lot of nice stuff for reasonable prices if you win the bids ! If the weather is good ill just have them shipped to me because its almost the same as paying the tolls/gas lol

I stopped doing water changes weekly as well. Ill do them every 2 weeks or so. I feel like my tank is much happier

I have a coralvue hydros setup hooked up to a big battery. It'll run my return pumps and my dosers/ato ect. It wont run my heaters or lights and a few other things. I also have a cyberpower ups backup, but its mostly for surge protection. Thunderstorm fried part of my hydros a few months back...

I have 2 emeralds and 3 pithos in mine and theyre fine with corals. I saw reefco just got some pithos in(not sure how far you are from them)

Try pitho crabs if you can find them. Emeralds work as well. Although the crabs can't reach a lot of places
