Rant: I've been battling cyano & hair algae for quite a few months now. The hair algae is not terrible, but the cyano is out of control. I've been getting less & less interested with the tank & even contemplated/ing selling it. I have ZERO TDS water. 10-15 gallon a week water changes running...

I have a really nice orange one that i got from AO. It hasn't moved from the place I put it.. got big pretty quickly too edit: took a pic real quick

just want to add my 2 cents. I recently started using zeobak & coral snow within the last few weeks to try to get rid of cyano. I know it's not going to happen over night.. but I'm seeing quite a bit of nice red coralline popping up on my rocks.. and my corals seem more alive & better color...

^^^^^^!!!! Nothing is more magical then diving in a tropical area! Diving in dutch springs(PA) is cool, but not the same!!! Me & the wife need to save up for our own gear.. hopefully go tropical again summer of 2014

Thanks for the replies everyone! Well, I spoke too soon. We found the house we really liked, but the wife got nervous & we backed out. She wants to save for a few more years before we take the plunge. Tank is safe for now!

limpets turn over easy. They will get eaten. Chitons also got eaten in a heart beat in my system, lol. I just ordered another quick crew last night for a re-up.

lol, we are basically going into the house with the clothes on our back & nothing else. We will be filling the place as time goes by. Tank could nicely pass the time
