Soooo i replaced the DI resin in my water filter …. zero in a second…. So now I’ll just start doing some big water changes and try to lower the phosphates to 15-20ish hopefully i got the gfo which I’ll start running this week

Problem two is high end equipment thag makes life easy… algae scrubber materials to make 50$? Store cost 500 gtfo… this hobby got so dumb expensive it’s sad i ran a 20 gallon before which was literally flawless… i upgraded to this tank and it’s been hell from day one just don’t have the high end...

Hmm interesting, i ordered new DI resin I’ll replace the one in my canisters waiting on gfo to come in this week aswell and try to bring these phosphates to 0 should i hit it with anything to zero it out completely? Or let the gfo do it’s work

We’ll what does the tds actually do from my understand it’s the minerals in the water which won’t have any effect on phosphates

We’ll i got a TDS meter and it’s slowing me 19 out of the DI 22 before the Di looks like the DI is depleted?

I mean it’s pretty nasty with all that slime algae all over it prob filled with phosphates
