How much water do you go through? I have a fan to pull heat out of my canopy from the halides, and my temp stays in the 78-79 degree range. I go through about 2 gallons a day, seems like a lot to me. How can I cut this down?

If you cut it off will it not regenerate and you will have 2 shrooms. I have seen this done and it worked, didn't take long for both to recover ether.

I have read most of you with more experience than myself have almost a ritual to making your water. I see most of you use ro/di and mix in salt(this i get) then you let it sit for 24 hours with a powerhead (why) then heat and serve?

I have only had the coral 3 days and it is getting some peach color to it so we will see what happend.

Was doing some research to try to figure this crab thing out and found my culprits! Also found a post that explains.... I've decided to name him Ninja because he has a black colored eye band and he's very sneaky. 8)

Same color as when i got it. there are 2 or more crabs 1 emerald and some tiny pinkish ones.(they don't leave the coral and don't seem to pick at it.)
