I got a Bangaii cardinal last night from OGII. He's active and will chase after food but just spits it out.
I've tried:
Larry reef frenzy (soaked in garlic)
Hikari frozen Brine and Mysis shrimp
Hikari Krill
Hikari Squid
Life Specturm pellets
Is it just not ready to eat or is this...
cyano cycles... cant remember what the period is, think it's 6 weeks. I will disappear for a week or so and gradually come back. I've watched it happen in my tank. It didn't go away for good until I made a lighting change. However, this was just my experience.

So I ran out of my regular salt (red sea coral pro). Had some old reef crystals in the basement and mixed up a batch. PH good, salinity good, cool. Change water and everything looks good. Repeat once more...

sure looks like cyano... My guess is there's not much flow on the sand bed. I got rid of my cyano by switching to LED lights from CF and adding fresh sand to the bottom along with increased flow. Then I siphoned it out and had to siphon once more and it was gone. For me light was a factor I...
Is there any place in NJ that stocks water storage tanks? I want to build a mixing/storage station but don't want to pay $200 for shipping two $75 tanks. I saw TSC has the 65 gallon one from norweso but the price for two of those is the same as if I shipped two of the 50 gallon ones from NTO Tank
He's back to normal this morning. No swelling or sings of stress. Behaviour is as it should be. I'll be doing a 20% change tonight when I get home then another on the weekend
