Ok thank you for all the responses. I currently have all my coral in my frag tank, I would just need to remove the inverts. I think I'm going to be doing the hypo but the loss of bacteria concerns me. Do you think this be ok? I have 16 fish in the 180 right now but when I add more I'll set up a...
Ok thank you all for the responses. After doing more research, I think I am going to take out my shrimp and anything that would be effected and then try hypo in the tank. This way they all don't have to be moved and I have a tank already set up to put my shrimp in. That's where I'm holding all...
This past Saturday I got a 180 gallon tank to replace my 144 gallon half circle tank and along with the tank I got live rock, live sand, 3 shrimp, and 3 fish from the 180. It was up and running when I got everything and that was all in it. Right now in the 180 I have a mix of my live rock with...
Karen, no I didn't remove him. As far as I can remember though all coral and inverts responded well with it, but I don't know how fair of a statement that is because I do remember I was having nitrate issues then so everything was not doing 100% in the first place. I think it took about a week...
Garlic works well and I have also used live brine shrimp in the past just to get them to start to eat and then when they are eating regularly I introduce them to frozen food, flakes, pellets, or anything else. The blenny that you got is probably wild unless it said ORA next to the tag. I hope...
Yeah it looks like pop eye to me too. When I had a 75 gallon tank my flag fin angelfish got it and I used epson salt for a few days and it cleared it up pretty fast.
I had a great time also and it was nice to meet everyone in person. Thanks to ACC for a great time and especially for the raffles! :) I'll put the AI Prime to good use.
It turns out that Im not going to need anyones help after all. I texted the person selling the tank earlier yesterday asking if sunday would work for her and then at 10:30pm she texted back and said she sold the tank to another person.
So, the person I'm buying the tank from just texted me and told me that if I'm not able to get the tank out of the house by the end of this weekend then she is going to sell it to someone else. Unless I'm able to somehow get people to help this week then I'm not going to be able to buy the tank...
Ok cool thank you! It will probably be early morning so the live stock doesn't overheat. When it gets closer I'll let you know for sure. If you end up being able to help, then I can give you some coral or something like that as I mentioned in my original post or if you would like me to just pay...
