I called them, very helpful. I'm looking at an r&j xtreme honey, 48x24"...they want $950 plus tax. How is that price, this includes the reef ready tank.
I am having trouble finding reef ready tank and stand. I emailed Tropiquarium but didn't get a response yet. I'd like to shop online as much as possible prior to making the trip to stores. Any suggestions? I am looking for glass 120g 48" wide in a brown or cherry.
Have my new system designed...I'm obviously looking to save money so I am planning to be a bit flexible and expect to adjust along the way. I listed what I have in mind below:
120g tank/stand 48-55" range in width
TRIGGER Sump
AquaC EV240
Mag drive pumps, 12,18,24
Aquatic Life 48" 8-lamp...
Hi guys,
I was recently given the advice to pick my skimmer prior to picking the sump. I am definitely going with a 120 display, with a 36" trigger or aqueon sump. I know the trigger can harbor the skimmer in the first stage but requires it be elevated, whereas the aqueon requires the skimmer...

thanks all, I posted another thread outlining what I am looking for in an aquarium and it's design. Hopefully I can get a design together and price it out to compare to the Red Sea.
Hi all,
I recently introduced myself to the community on another thread and got some great responses. Seems like this forum will be fun and a huge help. I am in the process of designing my new aquarium and could use some serious help. I have had many tanks in the past but never a reef setup...
Thanks for your help, is there a good spot for me to post for suggestions on a designing a new aquarium? Also, what do you think a good budget is for a 100ish gallon setup? I'd like to include a sump, decent lighting, skimmer, space for reactors if needed, chiller/heater, real reef rock and dry...
yes, that's actually where I am now in the process. Trying to decide between building a system or purchasing the Red Sea. The problem I have with building a system is my lack of pluming and electrical skill. I'm the type that struggles changing light bulbs...
