what do you use for a quarantine tank? I want to set one up since I'm guilty of not using one (so kill me! heh) and would like to start cleaning up my act. I see some people recommend a sponge filter. and keep it in the sump.. but I dont have a sump and theres enough filters in my tanks display...

I have a HOT refugium.. currently I have about 4 or 5 inches of sand in there, maybe a snail or two.. and some macro algae i got from steve68 (thanks again!) What else is recommended to put in there, or just leave it be? I want a good spot for pods to grow

at the frag swap, I got an sps frag I wanted to see how it would do under these T5's, we'll see how that goes. Anyway, I often see a hermit crab crawling on the frag.. is this normal or is he causing damage?

well, my upgrade from my 20 to my 46 is complete.  Within a few minutes though, web like stuff started to appear from a little cave, i think at least thats where its coming from.. any ideas what this is?? I hope its nothing to serious.. hopefully this move goes smoothly.. we'll see. **Edit...

I started practicing my macro photography today.. This is the only one that I liked.. I need brighter lighting I think. At low ISO's the fish move to fast, and at high ISO's its way too grainy. I'll play more later, let me know what you think.
