Finally purchased a 2nd ViaAqua phosban reactor to use exclusively with Purgien. Is anyone else here running one, can you give me any tips/photos on how to set it up (sort of leaving the purigen inside of a bag) so that the little beads don't escape though the reactor? Thanks!

Would a birdsnest survive in a stock 8g biocube? It's only 2 18watt PC bulbs. I have a small frag of pocillopora that I could try... think that might work? I've grown that decently in PC before but in my 24g aquapod.

Well I still have no idea exactly what he is, though I've found references to other "furry/fuzzy" gobyish (not true gobies from what I'm reading) such as:Caracanthus Typicus/ fuzzy nut goby so at least I think he's healthy whatever he is.

We've named him Dewy since he is the exact color of mountain dew... he's seriously like a yellow/green highlighter color.

What about several vanderbilt chromis? They school also from what I've read, not sure if they tend to be longer lasting then the standard blue/green chromis which I think everyone starts out with several and end up with one.

I have this in my sump and in my overflow... never makes it to the main tank (or if it does its eaten, I do have a couple red mithrax crab so maybe if it gets in the main they eat it). The bubbles are pretty easy to pull off w/o popping.

Ryan didn't you say you had the overflow for your remora but weren't using it? Might want to try it to see if that helps... you can lean your rocks against it if needed as I know it takes up a lot of room in the tank. Can you post a photo of what the bubbles/stuff looks like?

yeah I was referring to the fw dwarf puffers, recommend 3-5g per puffer even though they are tiny as they are messy just like their much bigger cousins.

I was also going to recommend the dwarf puffers, then again I do adore puffers. 2 for this size tank would be good... often need to feed them live blackworms though (not sure if that's an issue for you) I had 6 of them living in a 35g once and they were great... all the personality of bigger...
